This is certainly a stupid question, but how does one accept an open challenge on the multiplayer platform? when I click "accept" it asks me for a password...

The ones with a line before the game are not password games. Anyone can accept one of those. I have one up now :)

I think someone at Slitherine needs to clean up the old password protected challenges on the server. They are starting to clog up the challenge list and some have been sitting there for a long time.

I guess nonody at Siltherine si reading this thread. Old matches are still there.

I also wish i could delete games my oppenent dropped without resigning.
I wish they address the bug about the outcome of a server based match (always misreported).
I wish i could upload my games without getting an upload arror so that i Have to upload it twice (it always happens).

All server management by Siltherine should be reworked.
