Sub attack near Manihiki at 161,158 Japanese Ships SS I-21, hits 9, heavy damage Allied Ships xAK Diamond head, Torpedo hits 1, on fire, heavy damage SC-641 AG Aries, Torpedo hits 1, on fire, heavy damage xAK West Ivis, Shell hits 2, Torpedo hits 1, on fire, heavy damage xAK West Ira, Shell hits 1 xAK West Cape Probably 3 goners, plus a nice hole in another hull. That sub put up some fight.
