Every time I play DW, I keep coming back to the Akdarians, mainly because of their boost to ship building speed. I find the game stalls if I have to wait for everything to build or be refit.

I would suggest that base ship building speed in the game be boosted by 50% to speed things up, especially in the early game. I'd also drop Bakuras to doubling that instead of tripling that. And I'd then reduce the Akdarian bonus to the 30-40% range.

I don't have any trouble with the ship building speed. When a ship need very long to finish, the construction place are missing some resources, this happen special at early games when you just got 1 source for carbon fiber and already build colony ships on the planet.
