Anywhere else, the 'thank you for posting' page doesn't load properly, I just get a white screen.

Well, that worked ok.
Shut down and restarted my 'puter, maybe that helped.
Or it could be the server...

I've had to do a lot of reboot lately when I am on the Net. My guess - this is strictly speculation - is that server operators are installing new software designed to make it tougher for the criminals to stage a DoS attack (Denial of Service).

E-mails servers may be getting anti-viral filters plus anti-spam filers in addition.

All of this makes it tougher to stay connected and actually do anything. Lately I have to reboot two and three times per session. The Internet and e-mail used to be fun. Not much fun left in it.

Now it works perfectly.

I did nothing inbetween, so my guess for this occasion is that the forum itself was having a rough time.

I've been experiencing the same: cable modem seems to lock up, need to unplug it and reboot. Appears to be intermittent.
