Anxiety,
My first game I saw quite a few random events. They're a gas at times. I was running real short of credits, I had about 200 or so, and an annonymous donor gave me 5,000 credits. I had lots of fun spending that. And when two AI planets federated against me a random event had an uprising on one colony world that was linked to a dozen others in trade routes and I got the whole shebang for my side. I knew I was playing bad then.:cool:
So if you get very far ahead you can rest assured some random event will whittle you back to size and if you're losing your shirt some random event will take one off the back of some AI side and give it to you. But if you're playing middle of the road then I guess it gets boring with no random events to spice things up.
