WMMangus -> Problems with CCMT Mod Installation (5/31/2013 2:38:34 PM)

Game: Close Combat: Modern Tactics

Issue 1 - When trying to execute the CCMT SysCon mod (found here: closecombat.matrixgames.com/ccmt/ccmt.html) I get a pop-up error that says:

"CCMTSysCon.EXE – System Error
The program can’t start because UNZIP32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

Naturally the WinZip people say it's not their problem. Anyone have any experience with this?

Issue 2 - Not sure if this is related to #1 but have downloaded the Close Combat Modern Tactics Revisited by Perturabo mod and placed it in the Plugins folder in the CCMT file. The ModSwap utility doesn't see it when I navigate there to install it. Wrong file type?

Issue 3 - Have five battles which, when started abort with a "File Campaign has too many weapons defined." I have installed the update file which is at the same link the CCMT SysCon mod above. These battles are:

002M1 Office Defense
002M2 Desert Hunt
002M3 Airport Defense
002M4 Neighbors
002M5 The Border

Regarding Issue 1:
Unzip the downloaded file "CCMTSysCon.zip". Copy the extracted file "CCMTSysCon.EXE" to the folder where you've installed the game. This will replace the original file.

Edit: Issue 2: Copy the file "ccmtr_perturabo.zip" (unzipped) to "plugins" folder. Run the mod swap utility (double click on "CCMTSysCon.EXE"). Press "File" and select "Install". In the bottom option "Files of type" select "Zip Files". Locate the "plugins" folder select "ccmtr_perturabo.zip". Press "Open". On the next windows Press "OK" to install the mod.

Thank you, that fixed everything.

Suggest you add these very clear instructions to the page where I got the files. Makes is easier on those of us less experienced than most of the members.
