michaelm75au -> My pirates attack and defend on same planrt (6/9/2013 7:55:47 AM)

1.9.0.5
My pirates raid a planet with no local troops but a pirate hidden base. My raiders end up attacking the troops defending the pirate base by the looks of it.

Cowardly colonists are hiding behind my pirate base!

Yes, it's been that way since the start. Any attacks, including your own raids, are attacks against your pirate base facilities.

The AI should account for that.

I want an option for 'sponsored' pirates... or more accurately, privateers. Build no troops on my planets with 'sponsored' pirates and/or do not automatically try to destroy pirate bases/fortresses/networks.

Thank you for this report.

Once I build on-planet pirate bases, should I still be able to do raids on the planet?
Wondering as sometimes apart from the issue mentioned above, I seem to destroy my base. [Not sure if this was under 1.9.0.4 or .5]. Or it may be the same thing as above

Thanks for this report. This is fixed in the 1.9.0.6 update, which should be available tomorrow.
