Somewhere in the deep recesses of what is left of my overcrowded and utterly fragmented onboard memory, I recall something about a more pilots switch. Can some one illuminate me about this? I cannot find the first thing on search.

If you are talking about the maximum size of the pilot array, michaelm has permanently increased it to 70,000 from 50,000 in the beta exe.

My question is about a '-mp' switch which could be put in the load up target in the properties of the desktop shortcut. I 'thought' (as strange as it may be} that the switch made more pilots available in the game because I have run out of Dutch and Philippine pilots. Of course, that is because I have modded more planes into the game, but....

If this is not the case, write it up to an impending diagnosis of galloping senility, and try to explain it to me - using as few and as small words as possible.[sm=sad-1361.gif]

As the good Cpt Sherwood says, if you are using the current beta it has the larger pilot array in it.

There is no "-mp" switch. It is all handled within the executable program.

If you have run out of pilots in the pools, they you are out. The only way to modify that would be using the editor to increase the number of pilots coming into the pools each month. It may "take" when you edit the scenario in an on going game, some things do and most don't. May be worthwhile to give it a try. I have been pleasantly surprised by what I can edit into an ongoing AI game using the game editor.
