Hi,

This is my first post here so greetings to everyone!

I've been playing SPWAW for a while but only against the AI and am interested in trying a PBEM game.

Having never played a PBEM before you might have to help me out with getting started, and I expect to receive a total thrashing. :p

I have SPWAW 7.1 with the H2H mod.

I was hoping to start small, ie under 2000 points, smallish map, 10% artillery, no prelaid mines, C&C off. Meeting engagement?

I am most familiar with Germany so I would prefer to play as German side. Also they have nice tanks .. grr :mad:

Anything else is up to you.

I humbly await a tutor/butcher.

I´ll promise to use all the dirty tricks I know...;)

Drop me an email at XXX and I´ll send the setup with the reply (tomorrow that is, I´ll go to bed now!). You´ll need winzip, which is used for compressing the save game files...

Edit: If you have a favourite theater/year, let me know.

I'd be happy to play you Scharfschütze, although I have a whole free day today so I was hoping to get a game started today. (I just got this PBEM idea in my head so I'm keen)

In any case, if anyone else wants to start a game today leave a message here. Scharfschütze I'll email you and we can start a game tomorrow. (I don't mind playing two games at once)

Game is on the way. I did a mean selection of forces, just to demonstrate what can be done with certain units.

We have a US vs. Germany (He asked for it, really, he wanted West Front!)

I've heard about the imbalances in the H2H points so the situation has gone from bad to worse for me. :rolleyes:

However as they say you learn the most from your worst defeats.

A question..

So I have chosen my force and then entered a password. Then I was prompted to enter my password again and now I am at deployment. Do I go ahead and deploy my forces and then?

Also do you have icq? Might be easier way to communicate if I need to ask more questions or complain when my Tigers start exploding .. :mad:

Snailtrail so your playing the guy with the long name, he will show you lots of tricks, the first one that comes to mind is "play dead" :rolleyes:

I'm sure I'm in for a treat with Scharfschütze. My germans are currently headed for his lines to do their duty.

Anyway Italian vs UK sounds fun.. if you could get it started and send setup files my way!

I have a little bit of experience playing the Brits so we shall see how it turns out.

Italians should not be quite so tough as what I expect from Scharfschütze and his US troopers, which is good news. :rolleyes:

But I don't want too speak to soon..

Okay Scharfschütze has taught me a lesson already .. I surrendered after a few turns but learnt some important things..

Anyway I'm ready to start another game or two if anyone wants to play?

Viking - I don't think UK and Poland were fighting in 45-46? UK vs Italy sounded better.

So, if any of you want to start a game then contact me.
