Schludde -> Retrofitting Problem (6/25/2013 9:44:51 PM)

Hi!

I have problems getting things retrofitted to newer versions. So far it happended with construction ships and spaceports.
I play Shadows, latest version.

Two examples:
1. Early constructor with the bubble warp thing doesn't accept to be retrofitted to the new versions with gerax hyperdrive.
The new version is buildable and non-obsolete. Ship design is on auto but I unchecked the box for all military ships and constructors.
I do have some ressources missing in some places, but there are spaceports, e.g. my homeworld where everything is available in abundance.

2. Small spaceport can't be upgraded to middle or large. The only option that is offered is a newer version of a small. Spaceports are on auto design.
It happens at colonies with and at colonies without ressource problems.

I don't reallly think this is a bug, I rather guess that I'm overlooking something.

But what?
Would be great if someone had an idea...

Are Const. Ships, are maybe to big, check the ship size.

But you should upload a savegame.

No, ship size is fine. I can build them, and I can upgrade for ex. a gerax MK2 to MK3. But not MK1 Bubble crap to MK2 or 3. The Mission shows when I right click, but the ship ignores it [:(]

Is it 1.9.0.7?
1. The planet's building queue might have some construction before the retrofit?
2. The spaceport might still be building yet, or retrofitting, that would explain both your issues.

If non of the above, well.. I'm not good at troubleshooting in text form, but if you upload a savegame, I'd take a look at it.
