How does the game handle hidden airfields like Ngoro airfield, Java? The Japanese didn't find it till they concored Java. I couldn't find anything in the manual about this.

Thanks [:)]

I know nothing, but if it was an airstrip without any support, the game would treat it as nonexisting. Unless she had further infrastructure support and the developers were unaware of her. The question is could it support a squadron of fighters day to day or not. Drug cartels today have "hidden airstrips" but they would have little value on the scale of this game, I suppose.

Drug airstrips have whatever support they tend to need for the limited flights required.

I think that's what the lizard means. A couple of men and a truck can refuel a DC3 and load it up with blow (or many kilos)in the middle of Colombia. To service a squadron of P40s is a little different.

I think it's more a part of Soerabaja hex currently in game so would be in their airfield level size as well as any other hidden airfields if near a major base hex would also be. If there was one in a hex by itself, I assume it'd start off as either a dot base or a 1 due to little or undeveloped for the most part so all you'd ahve to do is move some kind of base unit there that has AS.
