probably was asked,but i don't feel like wasting hours just to have a chance to find this answer.
is there a way to remove them,OR nerf them to the ground ?i want to play longer game,with A lot of pirates,BUT it's impossible,because they would have 9999999999K power,while normal empires 0
in this case game will be a chore without any fun at all.

When you start a new game, there's an option to turn off the original Distant Worlds storyline. That would remove the derelict fields that pwering the pirates.

i know that,but i WANT storyline !
that's the point...i want to play all storyline but without overpowered ship lying around

Then go into game editor and remove the derelicts.

The original Distant Worlds storyline was nothing special. You just run around towards beacon until you find a World Destroyer or derelict fields.

In Shadows, the pirates can grab big derelict ships? AWESOME. I welcome the challenge of fighting against pirate capitals!
