Repair ships (Full Version)

I have 2 ships dead in the water, so to speak, in the middle of space. They have damaged components and cannot move. How do I fix them so they can move to a base? I sent a Constructor to their spot but I can't find any way to tell it to repair the damaged ships. Do I need a different type of ship or s special component on the Constructor to fix them?

Select the constructor then move the cursor over the damaged ships and the icon will change to a hammer, left click and the constructor will repair it.
