• Tactical WWII game ala Steel Panthers - Gary mentioned Steel Panthers was the game he most enjoyed creating in his career.

Beside any of the other GG masterpieces, that would be simply gorgeous! [&o] [:)] [8D]

If you do an updated SP:WaW just remember one thing...

DON'T RUIN IT WITH B.S. FANCY CRAP, just make it true to the SP:WaW we now love but with the improvements & fixes that so many threads have discussed here and at the Depot and Enhanced forums. And please don't lose any of the detail it has now and turn it into something like the Camo versions.

SP:WaW doesn't need much fixing as it is now. Perhaps fix Windows compatibility issues, give it a higher screen resolution, fix bugs, and expand the OOB capacities.

yes

WOW! WiTW looks GOOOOD! I am saving my pennies!

Omnius -> Ridiculous Game (9/16/2014 2:17:08 PM)

I find this new War in the West to be too ridiculous to be called a game. Is this really a game or merely a waste of a lifetime? Besides I've given up on Gary Grigsby ever finishing a game correctly, he always bails to move on to the next project he'll never finish properly. I'll pass on this ridiculous monstrosity and stick to Matrix World in Flames that does the whole war around the whole globe.

Omnius - sorry you feel that way. I've been testing it since last Dec., and I'm having a blast. But your entitled to your opinion and your tastes.

Omnius, does this World in Flames have a decent AI?

charlie0311,
Yes MWiF has the best AI of all - it has No stinking Artificial Ignorance to mar the game play. One must manually play every country, just like we used to when we played solitaire before computers came along.

Omnius -> To Each His Own (10/14/2014 11:45:35 PM)

cfulbright,
To each his own. I would never waste my time or money on another Grigsby game, been there done that. He lost me after he put out that wonderful Pacific War prelude game with the awesome WEGO movement/combat system. When he went to the full-blown Pacific War game he wimped out with the lame IGOUGO movement/combat system. With WEGO it could have been awesome, with IGOUGO I felt it would be lame as can be. Plus I got tired of how Grigsby never properly finished a single game he put out over the decades.

Hmm, I guess I am not alone.
