Bonzo -> New graphics for Combat Leader (2/23/2001 2:57:00 AM)

Just a note for those interested in the development of the game but don't visit the CL forum. Matrix has posted a couple new examples of the graphics on their Combat Leader Screen shots page. These ones show a bit more obout terrain & buildings with a few vehicles & trees. Still a bit sketchy, but looking much more developed than the earlier images. ------------------ Robert (Bonzo) Lindsay, Coordinator 28th (North-west) Battalion Headquarters Main http://nwbattalion.tripod.com E-mail nwbattalion@icqmail.com

Not to sure about the terrain, reminds me of a cross between the green mat I used when i did 1/285 units on the floor/table top and the old plastic molded terain I use't to get with models when I was a kid.[monagram I think] The halftracks, usely did not have the balken cross painted on the engine hood, most use the Blood banner flag for aeroregenition. ------------------ Doom

David posted a note on the CL forum that basically said that the terrain in the pictures is no where near the final stages & was basically there as a backdrop for placing the other graphics. ------------------ Robert (Bonzo) Lindsay, Coordinator 28th (North-west) Battalion Headquarters Main http://nwbattalion.tripod.com E-mail nwbattalion@icqmail.com

Looking very good guys . I love the direction you have taken for the graphics. I know this is just a sneak preview of what's coming. Good job to all that are involved. It is a good looking 2D, but will it have 3D capabilities, such as being able to be under a bridge rather then on it, or up/down-stairs in a building?

Paul Vebber -> (2/24/2001 3:02:00 AM)

We hope to have multi-story buildings, and tunnels/sewers, I'm not sure how bridges will work...
