I filled up a Terabyte disk drive with Distant Worlds saved games! It's been two years since I cleaned up my old folders and I just didn't notice that I was eating the last disk space until last night when I couldn't do a save. If you do save game as rather than using the rotating ten save games then take note that in a year or two of playing you can fill up your drive LOL!

you can always grab a bunch of the save game files and compress them... for later....

Heh, That's like my CK2 Saves. They now average ~150Mb each and take 10+ minutes to load.

There's probably little or no reason to keep anything of versions previous to the major release you're running (ie: 1.9.x.x is you have Shadows). Anything earlier than that isn't likely to be of any use to you.

LOL Jeeves. Hey how about another AAR or update to your strategy guide someday? Just make sure it's on difficult settings ... [;)]

I'm at Shadows LCC10 and haven't finished a single game in over six months of play. The current game is near the end of the seventh year, and I am preparing to go to war soon. I would have done that a year or two earlier but there was that technology rewards bug that delayed me. This is my first game playing as a Sluken, and all is going well...

Jeeves, even though we play on very different settings, there are many of us interested in how your Strategy has evolved since Legends ...
