Dear players,

to minimize the action and communication needed to spot and erase a bug, it is essential that you:

1.State your configuration with:

OS, amount of RAM, CPU, graphics card and most important the version of the game you are playing with.

2. Make a Screenshot:

The game offers the key F12 for a screenshot or you could use ctrl+print to make a screencopy and ctrl+v in a painting programm to paste it in a document.

The location of the screenshots is:

C:\Users\YourName\Pictures\Germany at War

3. Recheck and post the chain of actions

The most important thing above all is to have a chain of actions that would reproduce the bug.
So if you can state do A, B and then C and it happens over again, thats usually the beginning of the end of an error.

4. Locate your log folder

The game writes information in several logs. They are usually to be found in:

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Germany at War

Send them if they are required or you can also do it always to be sure all is done to provide evidence.

5. Prepare a save game

The best thing to happen if there is a situation banned into a save game so we only have to load it to get to the issue.
The save games should be in:

C:\Users\YourName\Saved Games\Germany at War

If possible construct a moment in the game that leads directly to the problem and save.

Thanks for sticking to this procedure - its a time safer for all.

Regards,

Hello jonasnarvas,

we do not have a fixed staff of testers for Germany at War. So you'll have to wait for the next major release with a beta recruitment.
