I uploaded a save game. name: adjantis30.08.2013 1 or 2 months after the save game it happens. I am not 100% sure if it is a bug. But since I started all over again several times after hours of playing i would like to know. The last three games my cashflow went down from one second to another. From like 20k to minus 1 to 5k. Every time i found out that I ran out of Loros Fruit. One could think that thats just the problem. But the weird thing is, I never knew where the Loros Fruit came from in first place. And I never got a big cashflow bonus as well. I just get a big negative one when I run out of stock. Since its pretty early in game and my fleet isnt big at all, there is just no reason why I shouldnt be able to make profit without Loros Fruit. I made two games after this problem. Did nearly the same things and played with x4 time. Both games, I didnt get any Loros Fruit. And both games my cashflow was great. Since all three games are played very similar (and just some years) its nearly impossible that there would be a differnce of 30 to 40k cashflow,from the first game after Loros Fruits were gone, to the other two games where I never had any Loros Fruits. It just doesnt seem to be right. The test games i made showed me that I didnt do anything wrong. Its just this weird Fruit which makes the difference and destroys everything.

What you are saying really doesn't make sense. You were probably making loads of cash from trading the loros fruit, and when you ran out, you stopped making cash. Look at your expenses also and see what is eating up your revenue.

Well as I posted i made 2 other games where I did the same as in the Loros fruit game. I have the same fleet and the same bases. And I have a cashflow of plus 30k. And you really think in the game with Loros Fruit where nearly everything is the same I have a cashflow of minus 3k without the fruits? How could that be? Where is the different in the games without Lorus Fruit that gives me a lot more money? With one planet and just after warp? Sorry but I dont think you read what i wrote after you read Loros Fruit. PS: And as I wrote, every game I got Loros Fruit at the beginning (from whom or what I have no idea)I got this problem. Every game without Loros Fruit money is no problem. So I dont think its a coincidence.

Had a similar problem until I noticed the early pirate protection was killing me. stopped the pirates and the cashflow went right up.[8D] Cheers [sm=00000436.gif]

If you stop paying pirates then you get the problem of a pirate faction contacting you every fifteen seconds to offer protection.

No pirate protection here :) Well I am not sure if it is a bug. But every game i get Loros fruit (which you get from the guardians as i just learned), i am at a minus cashflow after i used my last fruit. Every game which I dont get Loros Fruit my cashflow is stable and positive (and not, just positive, good numbers). Even if it isnt a bug, I dont understand the feature.

I hope a moderator or dev sees this, since I think I know what the problem is now. The bad things happen when you start with Loros Fruit. I found an old savegame of the uploaded savegame. And I had the Loros Fruit from day one (checked an older game where I had the same problem and found Loros Fruit at day one too). Still no very high cashflow at the beginning. Pretty normal one, 7k or so. So i guess its a "bug" witch happens when you start with Loros Fruit. Maybe the game calculates your start cashflow with a max or something like that. So if you got Loros Fruit at the beginning, your starting cashflow is a high minus one but gets to positive numbers with the Loros Fruit. The problem is, unlike other games where you have normal resources at beginning, the Loros Fruit will go to zero at one point of your game. And thats where everything gos wrong.

Thanks for this report. This is changed in the next update so that the random allotment of startup luxury resources at your colonies now exclude super-luxury resources (Loros Fruit, Zentabia Fluid, Korabbian Spice) Elliot
