Grimm -> PBEM Problem (2/25/2001 1:24:00 AM)

I set up a secure game. We both purchased and deployed without a problem. I did my first turn and then my opponent (player 2)did his and sent me the file. I get the following message when trying to access the turn: "Security violation - player 2 installation corrupt." Any ideas on what this might be? I know you can have a problem if you exit too fast but I thought that message was "File failed to Load." Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Have the file sent to you again. It isn't all that uncommon. It could be a number of reasons for it. The one that I'm not sure of is if you have different versions of the game going or if your oobs are different. I don't know what message is displayed. You can both follow the below link and get the PBEM program which may help because it insures that all the proper files are included and keeps things straight besides. A wonderful program. Thanks for the quick reply! [img]http://www.matrixgames.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img] I just heard from my opponent, turns out his machine crashed while exiting. He redid the turn and hopefully the problem will go away.
