The kind where you hardly ever use your feet, except to run.
That soccer stuff is merely an excuse for people to gather together for a brawl. (We call that 'hockey')

I find hockey and football to be exactly opposite from watching in person or on tv. In person, hockey is a blast to watch, on tv... not so much. Football is just the opposite to me. Went to some OU games as a kid... could hardly stay awake through the first half.

I don't recall much brawling on the field [&:]...off the field, that could be a different story. Soccer (non-U.S. & U.S.) is a great game to watch and participate in!

While American football is my favorite sport by far, soccer does have advantages over it, like no commercial breaks for +45 minutes. I have been watching football since the early 70s. These days I can only watch it if I have the game recorded on DVR to fast forward past commercials, or on the computer to surf the net while the game is on. Just way too many commercials these days.

You should go to some Alabama games. You won't go to sleep during those games, I guarantee!!!
