How to add more music into the game?

I like the Civil War music in the game - this creates great atmosphere! [:)]
How can I add more music into the in-game player?

Hi,

copy the new music (i only tried it with mp3) into the CW2/Sounds folder. In that folder is also a music.ini, where you need to write the file information in.

Music19 = ....(last original entry)
Music20 = ....(continie with exact filename of the music you copied it).
.
.
.

Maybe there is an easier way, but thats the way i added music tracks and it worked.

Thank you JBuford. [:)]

Do the endings '_x1' and/or '_X2' have a meaning?

I turned the game music off, went to grooveshark, did a search for Civil War songs, and played the results as a playlist.

Yes, external playlist is maybe the best solution here since there is no connection between game events and music as far as i know (like in HOI3)...

Plus I really like the lyrics:

"I hate the Yankee nation,
and everything they do.
I hates the declaration
of independence too!"

From the Confederate Anthem
