Seeing several crashes on the main campaign (April start).

Upon clicking next turn (after two turns) I get cant load DelZip179.dll and then it crashes to desktop.

Upon trying to load a save I get msg that the game has stopped working and to check the log file (attached). This happens after restarting the game and clicking the load button. I can start a new game and save it. But on trying to reload it crashes.

Needs work... [;)]

Thanks,
Rob

One thought. I had a similar experience when I installed the game into the Matrix Games directory instead of the "Games" directory which was the default. After I removed the game and re-installed it in the default install directory it worked fine. Apparently the game needs to read and write from specific files that are named as being in the default directory and "can't find them" when the game is installed anywhere else.

If you experience an issue with this DLL, you can disable 'compress turn files' in the Options Window. From experience, the game runs file from many different directories, nothing is hard coded on this point.

Thanks for the replies. I do have the game installed in the default game directory. I deleted the save game folder and i can load save files again. Haven't seen the .ddl problem again and am about 10 turns into the campaign.
