Guys - purchased and downloaded - enjoying thoroughly. One quick question: Harpoon had the facility to create new sub windows in the game area and have them track a unit or whatever - is there an equivalent in Command? I'm only part way through Tutorial 1, but on scanning the manual and the menus I couldn't find anything. Are we to do with the main window only?

Yes, this was a conscious design decision. H2/3's multiple windows were a source of joy for many, but also a source of confusion for many others. We chose to err on the side of simplicity [:)]

Sunburn - thanks!

Will definitely survive without them, but if it's an easy addition in the future then I think this sort of game does benefit from the ability to have different windows with different filters on them - so you don't get overloaded.

Thanks for a terrific game so far!

I always liked having units in one window and groups in another.

Can we pull status and doctrine windows off to second screen?

I liked the multiple windows as well - in particular if there are multiple target areas or if you were hitting an area while the bad guy was taking a swipe at you.

Okay couple of features

First you can enable popups under Game->Game Options. You'll notice a jump to location button on the message popups that will let you zoom in on what's reporting through it.

If you want a quick way to pan through you forces. You can use the spacebar and backspace key to toggle through them or press the o key which launches the order of battle window.
