22sec -> Import/Export (9/25/2013 7:24:43 PM)

I have not seen this covered, so if I missed it somewhere I apologize. Can you export units and/or installations from saved battle, then import them into a new scenario?

Ask and ye shall receive.

Thanks. I watched that, albeit while at work so I wasn't paying full attention. It specifically mentions exporting from saved games?

Primarchx -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 8:05:48 PM)

Should work from what I can tell. Open the saved game in the Scenario Editor, select the units you want to save and export them.

I thought I recalled that being an option. The sky seems to be the limit with what someone with time and ambition can do with this game.

It's scary, actually. I can just tell that there are going to be people who model Belgium building by building for Command. [X(]

Der Zeitgeist -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 8:28:42 PM)

Is there any reason why Germany doesn't have an entry there? I can only find some SAM and EW installations under the "CentFront 1985" label, but nothing else?[&:]

Jakob Wedman -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 8:35:47 PM)

Yeah, it's a little embarrasing DZ when you put it that way. I guess that all German air bases was a big bite.

Try to take it positive - none could believe that the peace-loving german people would be involved in any war [:D].

Primarchx -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 8:39:28 PM)

Really? No Germany? Strange.

Der Zeitgeist -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 8:45:22 PM)

I actually reinstalled to make sure I didn't accidentally delete anything earlier, but Germany seems to be missing. Seems like an actual error, I can't imagine the dev's didn't build the airbases, maybe they just forgot to put them into the release version.

22sec -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 8:46:41 PM)

Are you certain it is looking from the Cold War database?

Jakob Wedman -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 9:01:52 PM)

There is:
CWDB RAF Germany 1948
CWDB US German Bases

All airbases aren't there yet, and it takes some time to build an large airbase, but I think they will be [:)]

Der Zeitgeist -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 9:07:33 PM)

Yeah, I was talking about DB3000 installations. The CWDB Bases that Jakob mentioned are present in my version.

Actually, it would be nice to know what the developers are still planning to work on. Would make it easier for the community to add things that won't be included in future updates. [:)]

Jakob Wedman -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 9:12:46 PM)

I'm working on Swiss airbases [:)]

mikmykWS -> RE: Import/Export (9/25/2013 9:35:48 PM)

Der not sure yet but feel free to just build them out. We'll talk about hosting them somewhere so people can come and grab updates.

Mike

Caldrik -> RE: Import/Export (9/28/2013 9:20:46 PM)

In the Scenario editor you can modify units, like change sensors or add different weapon mounts...but you canīt save/export the modified units and load/import them in a new scenario.
Well, you can, but without the modifications you made.
I really would like to see this feature in the future [:)]

mikmykWS -> RE: Import/Export (9/28/2013 9:35:16 PM)

Sure can but you need to use the config files

Read 7.1.6 on in the manual.

Sorry its a bit much for one post [:)]
