Yeah autoduel is a good rpglike mad max road warrior game. Then around the 90's they came out with a game called Road War and Road War Europa which was another mad max road wars type game where you got shotguns and stuff and driveby shootings were fun. I liked the buses myself as they had pretty good power and lots of tires.

Twisted Metal. That series made you feel how fun it could be to BE a car... an insane car that likes to race around and blow things up while AC/DC is cranked up to 11. It was the digital equivalent to the movie Maximum Overdrive.

Battlecars - Similar to autoduel but just the fighting. Very good game for its day.

I play 30 minutes of TOCA Race Driver 2 every day as soon as I get out of bed ... its hooked up to a PC Gamer Bike and if I don't pedal then the car doesn't go. The bike can be configured to any keystroke so it should work on any game that has keystroke commands. When I first bought the bike I lost 40 kg in 5 months just by playing computer games ... true!!!
