MaB1708 -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/2/2013 7:27:14 PM)

Back from work and doing some prep for my flat move next week (I should not sit here right now....), now downloading the update and playing thereafter.
Thank you guys for this patch.

Martin

Tried new build, now won't load any scenarios [&:]

LuckyJim1010 -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/2/2013 7:42:35 PM)

Ah did not see that - just sent the scenario to your email. Doh.

billk111 -> RE: BETA PATCH v1.01 GET IT HERE (10/2/2013 9:14:40 PM)

Loaded in the Beta, so far no problems. In fact I have seen an increase in the speed while playing, no lag at all. Nice job guys.

At work at the moment but my scenario will not load with the new build.

Gives an ArimthmaticOverflow error after selecting the side (either side)

Do you need the scenario file ? I'll load it up later if you do.

Went back to v1.0.0 exe and it loaded fine.

Thanks for bringing this up! Fixed in Build 439.

To add to this: This bug is caused when you load a scenario/save and your current game has a higher-than-1:1 time setting. So as a workaround until we publish Build 439, please set the time to 1:1 before loading a scenario/save.

Thanks!

Are you getting an error message?

Do you want me to post a file on the multiple contact-status change messages I mentioned above? If so, I'm new to the forum, how do I do it?

Yes please. Zip them first in order to post.

Hey There,

Did you get my email save file OK? If not, I will post it....

LuckyJim1010 -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/2/2013 10:11:03 PM)

Sunburn - confirming your workaround for the scenario load exception is working.

BUILD 439 - V1.01 RELEASE CANDIDATE 2
--------------------------------------------

Download: http://www.warfaresims.com/RC/Command_B439.zip

Much simpler package, simply unzip on top of B438 (overwrite Command.exe).

Fixes:
------
- 0005714: [438] Slow down after assigning Backfire groups to ASuw Mission
- 0005511: Possible for a Player to set a 0 speed.
- 0005718: Get rid of NUM LOCK requirement

ArmyVet2004 -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 12:22:47 AM)

Just purchased the game. Just played the tutorial without the update to get a look around.
I'm very impressed!

I'm not a computer guru. I can do my basic things. With that said, I'm having a bit of trouble downloading the update patch and backing up my command.exe file.

Can someone please help. Thanks

Orlando

ArmyVet2004 -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 1:21:04 AM)

Looks like I managed to get the new patch in. Never figured out how to back up the file though.....

Thanks

Orlando

Jimapp -> RE: BETA PATCH v1.01 GET IT HERE (10/3/2013 2:10:54 AM)

This patched update continually crashes..if I replace the command.exe file with my original install will it be more stable?

BKLANDIN -> RE: BETA PATCH v1.01 GET IT HERE (10/3/2013 2:16:20 AM)

Hi fellow vet. Next time just copy and paste back to the same foler. You can also back the file up
by renaming it xxx.bak.

BKLANDIN -> RE: BETA PATCH v1.01 GET IT HERE (10/3/2013 2:17:41 AM)

Sorry, I meant the reply for ArmyVet2004.

aluminumx -> RE: BETA PATCH v1.01 GET IT HERE (10/3/2013 2:30:55 AM)

Looks better, but it's still not zooming on the mouse when using the mouse wheel. Is there something I need to do to get it to work?

Did you turn the option on? Go to game settings to set it.

kaburke61 -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 3:16:46 AM)

Still see the multiple duplicated status change messages in 439. They only seem to repeat for the messages mentioning change in flooding/damage statuses. Also in First Contact 57 (this time I'm playing as Soviet), all messages are still disappearing after a brief time.

Hello,

Is this with Build 438 or 439 ?

ArmyVet2004 -> RE: BETA PATCH v1.01 GET IT HERE (10/3/2013 6:27:55 AM)

Thanks BKLANDIN

I'll back it up like so......

Combatengineerjrgmail -> RE: BETA PATCH v1.01 GET IT HERE (10/3/2013 12:59:48 PM)

I don't see any info about a fix with the problem of some aircraft remaining at the wrong altitude, for the munition, while trying strike a facility. The best examples were the SEAD A-7 in the Tutorial. Is it still outstanding or did I miss a report about a fix? Thanks.

Iwbtone -> RE: BETA PATCH v1.01 GET IT HERE (10/3/2013 2:20:50 PM)

BTW, will the revised "installation" file launch with the official patch v1.01 ?
I mean fixing the Asia-OS can't install the game properly

D, does this mean that the V 1.0.0 command.exe is replaced by a beta command.exe that will be timed out?

Dimitris -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 3:11:17 PM)

Yes, which is part of the reason we recommend backing up the original v1 Command.exe .

VilleYrjola -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 3:42:18 PM)

Once the final version is released can I just install it normally even though I have the beta version?

erichswafford -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 3:51:18 PM)

Looks great! Will start trying it out and I've got a couple days off coming up! I need to get back to playing Command and doing something constructive.

ArmyVet2004 -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 3:56:21 PM)

Thanks Jakob Wedman

K, did a copy back into the same folder.
Guess I'll figure out later on what to do with this........

Like I said, I'm not much of a computer guru. I just like to play the game. Usually I can figure it out.

Yes, the final v1.01 will not make any drastic changes to the beta's file structure so it should be a clean overwrite.

ArmyVet2004 -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 5:31:34 PM)

Not sure if anyone else has noted this but ran into an issue with the Basic Training: Warship Operations.

Upon going to patrol area C, I set the ship on a patrol mission to those coordinates. The ship went right through the island of San Clemente and never went aground.

I know that on Harpoon, when you assign a patrol area the ship or sub will adjust for land obstacles.

BipBip -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 6:02:41 PM)

Hi,

The patched sim crashes when I create a No-Navigation Zone...

Tested with the "Operation Wooden Leg" stock scenario.

I was trying to create forbidden zones above Egypt and Lybia to let the IA plan the route to raid the targets.

ArmyVet2004 -> RE: Build 438 is available (10/3/2013 6:18:02 PM)

I'm just getting a feel for the game since I've not played in a while. Like that some of the features are the same as Harpoon.

Not tried any nav zones yet. Just doing some of the tutorials.
