Lützow -> Images on status bar (10/6/2013 11:47:36 AM)

How about adding pics to the unit status bar in a way the database viewer does (if an image is available show it)? This would contribute to immersion.

Lützow, I would prefer not to. Pictures are - more and more - in the db viewer (I really like to have them there, I do not know any platform and unit by heart, so for my immersion it is a great booster to be able to have a look at the unit), I would prefer to keep them there and leave the GUI as professional as possible. More the way one might have it in a CIC, and I am pretty sure they don't need the pictures to know how that stuff looks that they are pushing.
My 2 p only: pictures are great and helpfull but I would like to see them only in db when I check on units.
Cheers,
Martin

+1 to leave it the way it is, or make it an option only

I'd prefer the developers exploited the unused space in the status bar for additional information or interactive menus.

...additional info like assigned target, group weapon status...right!
