Hi,

I don't manage to use dipping sonar :

I select an helo, set it to 0 knots and less than 50m altitude
Uncheck inherit emcon and set sonar to active
Nothing happen.

If i use an ASW mission, the helo is using is dipping sonar normally.

This is correct, you cannot currently operate dipping sonar manually, it is done only as part of an ASW mission.

As explained in another post there are several distinct stati that a helicopter has to go through in order to start using the dipping sonar. This process can currently not be triggered manually. I think the devs put this function on the development, but can't find the relevant post right now. For now just create a ASW-mission and move the ref-point around to where you want the helicopter to dip.

You can force it to work--just set up an ASW patrol in a very small zone.
