Can we get a random option (button?) when assigning air units to a base or platform? Yes. it's great that you can go put the correct callsigns of Carrier Air Wing 17 on the Carl Vinson but sometimes I'm just too lazy to look it up ;-P

I wouldnt mind this either. What i have been doing if i dont want to use a "correct" callsign is if the plane happens to be a MiG-29, ill type "MiG-29" into the callsign box. It comes in handy.

It'd be neat if callsigns could translate to groups too. Group_383 just doesn't have the ring of "Fighting Cocks 12".

I've been renaming them to what they consist of e.g. F14 etc. Because I can never remember what the groups mean when observing the map.

Just make up your own names. Name planes after entertainers. Men for fighter squadrons, and women for strike. Doesn't "Lohan Squadron" or "Bill Murray Strike Regiment" have a nice ring to it? Ships are named after bands. "USS Floyd."

I should add that this program is constantly being tweaked...this is just the current version of it. And, obviously, some of the names won't make sense, like "Dixie Yankees." But they're mostly pretty good, I think.
