Brausepaul -> Where are the autosaves? (10/16/2013 6:00:06 AM)

Hi,

I run an AI vs. AI game and date is about mid of 44/10. When I return to the computer WitP has crashed. I do know that there should be autosave games, but where do I find them?

In the savegame folder. Where else would it be?

if you have the archive option enabled, they will be in a sub-fplder in the save folder.

Some of the users in the audience may not be particularly good with computers. Some may be new to gaming. Some may be waking up and stopping by the forums with a Q and a cuppa coffee.

And I've gamed enough and have used MS products long enough to know that the path to autosave files and Saves in general can be other than the obvious.

I swear there were no pws files the last time I looked, but I guess I tricked my self via sorting.

Ah, the ole operator error message. I get that one all the time, especially when trying to figure out why my operation orders don't turn out the way I planned...

Yep. Now more often than not you have to claw through Users folder trees. Oh for the days when games were in their folder and their saves alongside.
