We're very excited to release a Google Earth Battlefield Tour of Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm. This is a fantastic enhancement for the game from one of our testers (The Plodder) which will take you through the background of this alternate World War III, allow you to review the force dispositions of the NATO and Warsaw Pact, walk you through the main Soviet and Warsaw Pact attack corridors and allow you to browse every stand-alone and campaign scenario included in the game, showing where each in-game map fits on the actual map of Western Europe.

The only requirement is to download and install Google Earth first, then download the Battlefield Tour and double-click on the .kmz Battlefield Tour file. Then use the options in the menu on the left side to explore all the great information The Plodder has built into the tour.

Plodder did an outstanding job with this!

I greatly appreciate the support to the scenarios and campaigns this represents. It's an extremely valuable tool when trying to fit the war all together in your head.

Thanks for letting me do this guys, this was definitely a labour of love.[:D]

One of the things Erik's screenshots didn't show was that if you click on an unit you will get a pop-up balloon showing that unit's subordinates, shoulder patch, and links to the unit's wikipedia link if it's got one. Should be a handy resource for you scenario makers.[:)]
