Q-Ball -> "You are all Green Alike": Looking for GC Opponent (10/19/2013 7:41:38 PM)

Howdy! I am seeking a gentemanly opponent for the GC for CWII. I prefer to play REBS for now.

I don't have any experience with this PBEM, but chances are you don't either! So we are all Green!

Here is what I am hoping for in opponent:

--Honest: Pretty critical since CWII doesn't have password protection for PBEM!
--Flexible: Willing to consider and implement HR as problems arise; we both should look to limit things that don't "feel" right

I would like to write an AAR

In terms of House Rules, I am willing to play with limitations on single-unit Cav raiders. It's way too easy to cut rail lines, etc. Something like Jim Burns did in his game; maybe only border regions have raiders, unless it's a stack led by a leader. In fact, I would consider prohibit tearing up of rail unless it's a named leader in the stack. Single Unit Cav always OK though west of AR/MO line

Reply to post or PM me and we can get started

I am green as you and keen for a game. Happy to take the Union. Honesty is a must. No question here. No peeking or reloads, you have my word.

I played the original ACW many times, and this version isn't much different from that. So when you are looking for another game against an experienced opponent, just let me know. Norm
