Hi,Logged in just to reply, even though this isnt exactly new,im sure youve found your answer by now,but for others like myself that visit here, the first Five games in the series that were made in the late 1990's Bridge Too Far CC2 around1995. The best most people claim was Close Combat3 the Russian Front,CC4-battle of The Bulge and CC5Invasion Of Normandy,3-5 have pretty much the same set ups, very squad focused, follows your infantry from one battle to the next(if you can keep him alive!)and watch them level up in rank too.You play back and forth over the same maps/ground so the wrecked vehicles start to stack up which is a nice touch,i remember having to install a patch that gave you lifelike explosions and smoke, and main reason im here today is because, ive just found Close Combat Panthers in the Fog(which ive never seen on sale!?)included in the worlds cheapest Bundle!!lol...and this again is more of the same which i dont mind,as if it changed too much it wouldnt be Close Combat would it?!I dont ever want to see this morph into an FPS god forbid.I know theyve tried.Graphics sprites/colors are improved obviously, but instantly i can see theyve not got the same level of depth with the units as they used too.Ive only played it a few hours maybe i can change it in settings.Seems theyve remade/enhanced whatever you want to call it most of the first 5,easy to find if you look.I fancy getting cross of iron next!...Guessed instantly that must be the remake of no.3!?...In a nutshell 3/4/5 are a must!,and 2 although Arnhem is my favorite scenario of ww2,sadly CC2 didnt do it for me,even in 1997 the 1995 game was looking dated!!;)[:-]
