1) To know precisely the effect of the fractionnal part of the arty delay is not easy, and the manuel is not very clear about that point. Here is what I have worked out with experiments, but I'm not sure. The first percentage is what fall before the enemy turn, the second is what fall after.
0.0 : 100 % / 0%
0.1 : 66 % / 33 %
0.2 : 50 % / 50 %
0.3 : 33 % / 66 %
0.4 : 0% / 100 %
Could any arty specialist tell me it's OK or not ?
2) The manual tells that the casualty ratio is halved when the spotter has no LOS. Is it relevant for suppression as well ? And does it apply when the spotter is a FO ?
3) Does the routine check the LOS of the spotter when the spotter calls for arty, or when the rounds fall ? If it is when the spotter calls for arty, must he keep its LOS when you click the EOT button ? Or can you move him/her in LOS, call for arty, then go into cover before hitting the EOT button ?
I thank you heartly in advance for your answers. I do try to find the answers by myself, but it's not always very easy !
Silvarius.
1. Not sure.
2. Yes, suppression is affected by LOS.
3. You need to have LOS when the rounds fall.
