Geaxle -> Resolution issue on Microsoft Surface Pro - RESOLVED (11/20/2013 11:42:24 PM)

Hello,
I am new in the forum but I have played the game for a while.
I have searched the forum and wider interwebz for a while but I didn't find anything similar.
I just installed Distant World with the 3 extension on a Microsoft Surface Pro with a resolution of 1920x1080. When I launch the game it says that it needs a minimum resolution of 1024x768 to work, like if it was not recognizing the native resolution. Whatever resolution I set the computer to before hand doesn't change anything in the game, and I also have tried to change it in the startup.ini to no effect.
My problem is that I cannot see the right side and lower side of the game windows. It disappear behind the screen.
While writing this my friend next to me just solve the problem so I will share the solution for anyone who would encounter it.
In the game folder, go to the distantworld.exe, right clik and compatibility setting. Click the "Disable scaling on high DPI"
And here you go, magic happens!
