I got to the end of my order and was over by a couple of dollars (fixed income). So I wanted to delete the last game in my list ordered (distant world shadows) and it wouldn't let me...Says something like minimum quantity amount has to be 1. I put 0 and updated and it wouldn't let me. There is also no trash can by this product like all the others. So, to get my order I have to click on everything again before distant worlds. Please fix this as this is very annoying.

Also .99 added to everything makes me/us have to put back a game from time to time. I like whole $$ amounts, this marketing scheme of .99 don't work with me because I have become accustom to adding a penny to every sale price. So, basically your games are $1 more not less. Nice try though but those that are penny pinchers like me will see that in a heartbeat. [:D]

EDIT NOTE: It seems to happen on the very last game in the list. As I delted an expansion game for Panzer Corp (Western 44) and it moved to the top when I relisted it and the Shadows expansion moved down in the list and then I could delte it becaue it had a trashcan beside it then.

yes it is odd, i had to redo my cart fully over several times to just get the right games. on other occasions the cart has simply refused to let me get more than 3 or 4 items, just overwriting things, but then this time after a while it started letting me do it - unpredictable checkout quite so

Yep, they just lost some sales from me because of that delay in pressing the buy button. I went from $102 order down to $60 something and some change. Better fix that Matrix.

Iain and Erik I also experienced all of the above problems plus

I can't order more than 2 games with physical copies - otherwise the system deletes my previous one.

When you get to above ordering about 5 games every time you order another it will delete the previous one.

If you put all in the trash and try to start fresh when you come back all the trashed orders will reappear.

Really a lot of glitches in the ordering software = time to retire the old commodore 64?[:D]

Could you forward me your order numbers at erikr@matrixgames.com? The first issue is a limitation of the Plimus shopping cart. The first item can't be removed without starting a new order. That's been on our list for them to fix/improve . The second I've never heard of before - there should be no limitatoin on the number of games or physical copies. We'll try to duplicate and fix.

Can you tell me more about it? Did you get a specific error message each time? A timeout perhaps?

I had the same or similar problems to my good friend aaatoysandmore [:(]

1/ There was no error message appearing per se

2/ When you added a 5th game it would simply drop one of your existing choices to make room
for the 5th one.

3/ I don't believe a timeout because each time you tried to correct you could get faster at it so no big time delay.

4/ There was no trash can beside the top entry on your list so you could not trash it and you could not change quantity to zero as it would not accept that either.

5/ If you trashed everything in your order in order to start again and went to another screen and then reloaded your cart screen your previous choices would all reappear.

6/ It would not allow me to order more than 2 physical copies of games without deleting one of my previous choices.

I am using winxp 32 bit - AAA's experience may be somewhat different - I am sure he will let you know.

Also on different retail websites I find IE8 will work better and on some Google chrome will work better - some features may not work at all - this may have something to do with it at least in my case. I had a complete HD failure early in November and am still having issues with the HD replacement which may be related.

What bruce above has described is somilar to what i found except on occasions it was only limiting me to 4 or so games and it would just drop off one of my other choices . It was unpredictable as to which one would drop off and which would stay on. It may depend on the game as after a few goes with different order loadouts it worked for me and let me get more than 4 in one order

regarding the issue with cart limitation, it doesnt seem to be occurring now - it was a definite and distinct issue in the past, but one which i thought maybe was deliberate - i just did a test loadup of a cart and up to 6 items with none being pushed off

the issue also still persists with being unable to completely clear the cart - how does one do this even? and also everytime i clear the cart it all comes back again - does the site have issues with cookies or something? as though somehow it cant update new information correctly

i was thinking of just getting gates of troy but i think i will give up and not bother now as i cant seem to clear the cart - i loaded it up to test it as mentioned above, but now despite delete all the items 4 times over (except one, which isnt sitting in the top spot, which i want to remove also) all the cart load is still there again everytime i go back to it.

May I ask when was the last time you encountered the issue with the cart only accepting 4/5 items? I could not re-create it in the store, so I just want to be sure it's still happening as recent as this week.

Thanks for the detailed account of all the issues. That makes my work a bit easier. I'll try to find good answers for you.
I realize that the fact the top game in the shopping cart cannot be deleted is a major issue for you. I'll take that as a priority.
