I'm missing something in my setup:

Error Log:
Windows Error: The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.

Event Viewer:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Commander The Great War\ctgw.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.30729.6161" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

Vista, service pack 2
C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) - 11.0.61030

Hi please re-install and whenever the installer asks to install or update secondary software please do.

If that does not work follow these instructions and tips, so we can see your hardware, software, drivers and error reports in detail.
