mikmykWS -> Community Scenario Pack Updated 12/8/2013! (12/8/2013 2:41:30 PM)

Miguel Molina has updated the Command Community scenario pack with a new release!

DOWNLOAD SCENARIOS HERE. Unzip to the “Community” folder in the Scenarios folder (or create one if there is none).

This new release includes 6 brand-new scenarios:

Give Them Hell, 2008: NATO dispatches a relief convoy to Georgia during the Ossetia conflict, and Russia intervenes to block it.

Israel Strikes, 2014:
Israeli airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear forces & infrastructure.

Montevideo Reach, 1973: The Soviet Union sends assistance to a socialist coup in Uruguay and a US amphib group must intervene – fast!

Danjo Wall, 1991: Japan mobilizes as a result of the Tienanmen riots and locks horns with China.

Operation Sling of David, 2014:
The P-5+1 talks between Iran and the west collapse, and Israel decides to take matters on their own hands.

Small Random Convoy Transit, 1989: The classic “WW3 NATO convoy” theme, but with randomly-assigned forces and threats for great re-playability.

Also includes existing & updated scenarios:

Annaba Constant, 1960
Stag Yellow, 1968
Gulf of Tonkin incident, 1964
Hunter-Killers, 1962
Caribbean Crisis – The Showdown, 2012

A quick request for future releases...

If .ini files are included with any scenarios, please include them with the scenario package. That will make updating them much easier when new versions of the database come out. (I'm trying to include an .ini file with any new scenarios I write for this reason.) Thanks!

Does anyone else have issues running these (and other) community made scenarios? I download the pack and extract to the scenario folder as instructed. I can see all scenarios but only a few of the will actualy load!?? I have the latest patch installed as well.

Thanks!

Maybe you have to update them to the latest database? I don't know. Are you able to load mine? Mine will load on my machine, so if they won't load on yours, you may need to reinstall or something. (But wait for more knowledgeable people to offer advice, too...there may be an easier fix.)

You are probably right on the database update. I have not updated anything but the first patch that came out. I'll give it a try tonight if I can get my kids to give up the computer ;)

What happens with the scenarios that don't load? Are you getting an error message?

The scenario never starts, it just took me back to an empty map. Either way, the latest patch fixed the issue anyway. Been playing that Balkans scenario all day, good stuff!
