Resort Bases at black holes (Full Version)

Hi guys,

how does one build a resort base at a black hole, without it being sucked into the event horizon?

I haven't managed to build a single resort base at a black hole, they all got destroyed and I have tried several times.

I bet you try to place the station manualy, while you goto the black hole and tryed to build the station somewhere at space ?

Just select the black hole and click at the icon at the info window to build a resort base. The constrution ship should find the right place.

I build at Blackholes and Novae all the time. Just do as Canute says above.

I must be doing it wrong still, then.

I cannot right click on a black hole and make a resort or research station, even if I have a constructor ship free and in range.

I can click on a constructor ship and make it build a station on black hole, which results in death/timetravel.

What version/expansion is your Distant Worlds?

You try to build from the Galaxy view i think.
You need to zoom into the solar system view and select the back hole there.
When you want to set the order for a special construction ship, select the ship then zoom to the black hole.
Right click at the Black hole and select from "Build at (Name of the black hole) the resort base.

Left is the Black hole system from the Galaxy, on the right the black hole itself from the System view.
You see at the right one you got the icons to build stations there.
