Warwick -> Is this game mod friendly? (12/30/2013 4:58:54 PM)

I would like to see a scenario starting in 1936 with the ability to align any minor to a major. I would like to be able to play DoD III manually while playing the WiF portion using the computer game.

"mod-friendly" would not be an accurate term for MWiF to meet those desires.

It is unlikely a modder can plug in DoD. The rules experience A LOT of changes between the two and you would have to reprogram the entire turn process to include the three-sided sequence of play.

It is not impossible but I think you would want the original programmer to do it. Too many changes would be hitting up against hard-coded bits of the game.

I will try not to think about this. I have plenty enough scary themes for my nightmares already.[X(]

According to an interview with Mr. Rowland, you will have to do so sometimes in the distant future... [;)]
