SS on battery on surface

DBF -> SS on battery on surface (12/31/2013 11:50:26 AM)
In a game I made, I started out with 2 US diesel subs on the surface and they ran on the battery. Should be running on the diesels on the surface and switch to battery upon submerging. This a bug or am I missing something? thanks
