Shouldn’t sonobouies be able to be monitored by any capable platform and not just by their launching platform? During a recent game, bouies deployed by one A/C weren’t able to monitored by another A/C that relived it on station. The second A/C was forced to deploy new bouies even though bouies from the first A/C still had time left on them.

Technically I think you're correct but it might be a moot point since sonobuoy lifetime is measured in hours--I'd figure a new A/C on station would want to place fresh buoys no matter what.
