1) During the "action" phase of a turn while the turn is resolving (can not be in pause), select the "close window" X box located in the upper right corner of the window.
2) The game will ask if you wish to proceed, select proceed.
3) The game will revert to the orders phase with any left over orders available for issuance, and in the middle of the current C3 cycle.

The player can use this to respond to the tactical situation in "real time" rather then having to use the intended C3 cycle mechanic. This was tested with both NATO and WP, in both scenario and campaign. Reproducible in all.

Jenrick, we will get this one the bug fix list. Thanks for posting the details.

It actually creates an interesting tactical play option. Sure it "breaks" the C3 cycle mechanic, but if you play with limited orders you are still stuck with that. It provides a bit of flexibility, provided you haven't used all your orders already, but you can only order so many units. With the appropriate counterbalance in place it could work quite well.

Give the player a 1 shot "break" they can use at any time during the "action" phase of a given scenario. The player can use any remaining orders they have. Basically the HQ is broadcasting in the clear on every channel they have access to, to get out last ditch orders. The opposing side automatically get the location of the main HQ, and potentially an off map strike of some kind (artillery, rockets, air, etc.) A regimental/divisional/etc (depending on the scale being played) HQ is going to be something that the army as a whole is going to try to destroy.

Just a thought. I love the current C3 mechanic and think it works great, but this created a new twist on it potentially.

IronManBeta -> RE: Game exit exploit/bug (1/11/2014 10:48:20 PM)

A nice exploit indeed but not one we really intended. This is fixed now and will become available in 2.03.

If you find any more could you please PM me with them? That way I can use them on Cap'n Darwin, Mad Russian and Charles Belva when I want to beat up on them, lol.

Tapping side of nose, cheers, Rob C
