The rulevars are found in the editor. Basically they are a list of variables that can be set to different values. There are many, and i donīt mean many, but MANY.
Enabling (or disabling) one will usually have a smaller or larger effect, depending on which you choose.
For instance there is a rulevar that allows for counterbattery to occur. If enabled, artillery (those with ranged attacks) will fire back at artillery that fires at them. If not enabled they wonīt.
If you wish to look at them more in detail, open the editor, and look in the Setng area of the menu, and then select the Rulevars option, in the menu on the left hand side...
