Entering a multiplayer game in Germany at War:
1. Connecting to the server
In the main menu there is a button to enter a multiplayer game which leads you to a login screen.
You need an account at the Slitherine forum to play PBEM++.
If you already have one, simply login like you enter the forum and you get access to the games on the server.
In case you have not a user account yet, you can register right away in the game.
Just select a username (4-19 characters limited to: a-z,A-Z,0-9 and '_'), then a password (any character) and you can start playing.
2. Troubleshooting
If the multiplayer button is not selectable you have to hover over it and you will get an error message in the tooltip:
2.1.Authorization not found.
Solution:
This means something with your serial number is wrong and it cannot be traced by the game.
To reinstall the game should resolve this.
2.2. Connection to server failed.
Solution:
Sometimes to wait a while will resolve this.
Also checking your internet connection in general is recommended.
2.3. The game is not up to date.
Solution:
The tooltip will show you the version number of the game you need.
An update to that version will remove this error.
