Havelock -> RE: Crash .... (2/7/2014 8:17:47 AM)

Tried using the file in the prerequisites directory, but it declined as I had a newer version installed. (Last night I installed 4.5.1 direct from the Microsoft website). Also tried reinstalling DirectX 9.whatever from the same directory, all went fine although I think my system is up to DirectX 11 now. All to no good. The game runs fine - initially - it's just when trying to click on any of the buttons (Sensor, weapon, etc) in the right-hand-side column it gives me the earlier error message. This started when I installed 488, but when I reinstalled from scratch it then did it from the default install. But I haven't (or hadn't) touched another file apart from installing 488. Bit stuck now .... I suppose I could try reinstalling windows, but I'd rather not! Cheers, Byron
