... your change in position on marketing has ever had any evidence behind it.

You still don't understand "burden of proof", do you? You've raised the negative allegations against Matrix marketing; it's for you to provide proof.

Thus far, you haven't provided one iota of proof. Your allegations can be safely ignored.

There are a number of previous posts that have already highlighted the errors in your logic here.

You keep forgetting that you have expressed a position so the burden of proof also falls on you Kayoz.

You keep forgetting that this is a forum where we are all speculating off the back of a fag packet and are free to do so.

Icemania -> RE: Change publishers (2/26/2014 1:50:06 PM)

Osito, just to add ...

While doing Marketing in my MBA, we did a rather interesting business simulation which combined product design and marketing.

At the start and at key milestones we submitted business plans and evaluated our performance against those plans.

About half way through my team and another team invested heavily in developing good products targeting a particular market segment where existing products were limited.

The other team didn't think there was much potential so they only did some limited marketing. In contrast, since we saw the potential in the segment targeted, we invested in carefully targeted marketing and wiped the floor with them.

It was recognised that the business plan is just a tool ... marketing was fundamentally about performance / realising potential. And those business plans changed over time and adapted ...

Nope. Will you?

Can we all agree to disagree and just ignore the thread?
Constantly picking points of contention does not do anyone any favors [8|]

Darkspire

Good news Darkspire, I agree to disagree with Kayoz. However, every time I post, I know that Kayoz will not be far behind, even when my posts are written to the community, Kayoz will be constantly lurking over the forum ready to pounce on anybody. What a pleasant forum this makes both for young and old.

DevildogFF -> RE: Change publishers (2/26/2014 2:13:35 PM)

I give the moderators a day, tops, before I start losing my ****.

Kayoz is a cancer. He is confrontational, rude, condescending, and worst of all: unleashed and unchecked.

If something isn't done about him soon, I will act accordingly. Your forums are plagued by his presence. Get rid of him or soon face the consequences of not doing so when the new players come on board with "Universe". He'll surely chase them off.

WHEN IT'S SOLD ON STEAM! [:D] (Just for you, Kayoz)

PS: To those that are insinuating that Ice is "just as bad", I remind you that Kayoz does this with EVERY SINGLE THREAD that he doesn't agree with. Usually, posters just back off, but finally someone is taking a stand. Kayoz did it to me when I made a suggestions post one day and, being new to the community, I backed down. But I stand with Ice in saying that enough is enough.

And to supplement DevildogFF, not once have I accused Kayoz of being a crazy, North Korean, amoral, immoral, lying, insane, sociopathic fool ...

Are the Moderators suggesting this is acceptable?

Well, I don't think it should be mandatory that you make the accusation ;-)

You really are ignorant, aren't you? It's Matrix and CodeForce's decision. Not mine. Not yours. Whatever is decided, is theirs to decide.

Oh, you're not alone. One particularly vile little toad actually advocated the killing of children. Right before the thread was locked. Take pleasure in the company you keep, and rest assured that you aren't alone.

Your response says all that need be said regarding the truth to your claims of marketing education.

Unless marketing is being taught in middle school, of course.

Cauldyth -> RE: Change publishers (2/26/2014 3:41:07 PM)

It's always interesting to me when someone who gets in fights with several other people, none of whom get in fights with anyone else, always considers it the other people who are the problem. Simple reasoning skills should make it clear where the problem actually originates.

But yeah, it's always everyone else who's the problem, right?

We go round and round. Your responsibility - not mine.

"It is a fundamental principle of English law that a litigant bears the burden (or “onus”) of proof in respect of the propositions it asserts to prove its claim. The burden of proof does not lie with the person who denies the allegation, however the party denying the allegation is able to admit evidence to show that what is alleged was not the case. Unless the party is able to prove the fact by relying on judicial notice or a presumption, the fact must be proved by formal evidence." - ref

Your complaint - that puts you in the role of "litigant". You bear the burden of proof. Not me. I'm under no burden to prove Matrix's performance has been reasonable. I have made no complaint against Matrix. You have. You bear the burden.

This is a fundamental principle of common-law justice. How is it that this is so mind-bogglingly difficult for you to understand?

PipFromSlitherine -> RE: Change publishers (2/26/2014 3:54:28 PM)

This thread is serving no purpose any more.

Cheers

Pip
