BB62squid -> Damage Control... (2/11/2014 10:27:14 PM)

If this is in the wrong location, I apologize...
Knowing that there is a thriving a bright dev team and community I thought I would broach a question. I notice the damage control button that brings up a status of various systems and their condition. There does not seem to be away to influence anything.
Assuming that there is no DC teams modeled....is it planned? Is it even possible to code? Would add a whole new level if I could 'save' my burning and flooding ships, or get damaged systems back into the fight...

Funny there was a sorta related discussion on this last night.

Right now no. Although it may be something considered for the future. Our scope is really not at the tactical ship level but a layer or two higher. Its assume that your staff will take care of the details although I agree quality should impact that.

But my understanding is correct that damage - both to systems and flood/fire - does repair automatically over time in a given scenario? And expedites repair rate when at a pier?

Thanks,

Martin

Yeah we have damage control. I'm not sure if quality plays into it. Have to ask D. I don't think so though. Being at the pier has no impact.

Thanks!

Mike
