Zovs -> Converting Older Scenarios (2/12/2014 4:27:16 PM)

I just found the following scenarios and am planning on opening them up in the editor and saving them for use with Matrix's TOAW (these came from TS COW), I understand that there is new features in TOAWIII that COW did not have but they should still be "play-able", or at least that is my hope. If there is any interest I can post them via like a dropbox thing or something so that someone can 'host them', if there is any interest.

Drop me a line or post the D/B link here; I am willing to modify/adapt them for use with 3.4 or Opart 3XBb.exe; in most cases the supply levels have to be checked, the AD and MRPB adjusted, in some cases the entrenchment rate, e.g. 33% if the terrain was frozen solid, rocky or sandy, like in most EF and Africa scenarios. More than willing to attach a readme.txt which explains the changes.

Hi dlazov66
There´re two more excellent scenarios of McBride... Braunschweig_7.1(the Stalingrad campaign) and Berlin - Götterdämmerung_1.81 (the Bagration campaign...the best!!).. If you want, I can send you them by email.

Some of these come with TOAW III. El Alamein and Tobruk for sure.

Zovs -> RE: Converting Older Scenarios (2/12/2014 6:35:03 PM)

Okay, thanks Curtis. I just found them on an old CD of mine. Wanted to play DNO or Braunschweig with the new engine...

shunwick -> RE: Converting Older Scenarios (2/12/2014 7:32:21 PM)

dlazov66,

What is TS Cow?

Trappenjagd is the only scenario on that list that I am not familiar with.

Best wishes,
Steve

Zovs -> RE: Converting Older Scenarios (2/13/2014 5:15:49 AM)

Steve it was TalonSoft's Century of Warfare (originally it was The Operational Art of War (TOAW) and then it became COW).

shunwick -> RE: Converting Older Scenarios (2/13/2014 3:13:53 PM)

Thanks for clearing that up.

Best wishes,
Steve
