zouave -> Question about scenario randomness (2/13/2014 4:50:36 PM)

First off, let me echo what some others have said - this is the best boardgame conversion for the PC I have ever seen. As I mentioned over in Consimworld's On the Table folder, I've already had some of those classic ""Hey, remember when.." moments with this game (in this case, remember when those partisans sprinted across the bridge, survivied defensive fire and then blew up the German AA gun with their satchel charge?").

My question has to do with the scenario parameters when playing solo. Is there any randomness in terms of when enemy units arrive or perhaps certian events take place? In the board game, there were events that would happen, and I'm wondering if the PC version does the same.

Oh, there are events allright... [;)]

Hi Zouve,

The PC game does use events, but of course, there is no need for event markers. Almost all of these events are in the campaign scenarios. There is also some randomness with the AI troops and placement. I used this in several scenarios (maybe 8-11).

Best,

Mark

Fantastic! I was hoping that was the case.
